Tone, Strengthen, Build Flexibility
PILATES MAT Class

A group class focusing on core strength and stability while toning muscles and increasing overall flexibility. Classes are a great way to challenge your muscles while using your own body weight as resistance. Individuals will have the option to intensify each workout by using Flex-Bands, Fitness Circle, Hand Weights, Foam Rollers & Stability Balls. Pilates Mat classes are open-level, and beginner and intermediate modifications & advanced variations are given based on the class for each exercise so that every client is challenged regardless of level.
Sculpt and energize
BARRE™ STRENGTH Class

Sculpt lean and toned muscles with this energizing and dynamic group class designed to challenge and change your body – no dance experience required! Total Barre™ efficiently blends Pilates with dance, cardio and strength-training specifically challenging arms, legs and core to strengthen and lengthen the body. Powered by energizing, heart-pumping music that makes you need to move, this class uses choreographed movement patterns with the support of a ballet barre to take you through a flow of high-powered sequences that will keep you energized and motivated.

Build core strength, increase flexibility
PILATES Reformer
Time: 50 mins, Max 6 people
Reformer classes have moved to our Southbury studio starting August 12, 2024.
Develop lean muscles without adding bulk by including the reformer in your routine. The springs provide resistance while the carriage glides smoothly awakening muscles you didn’t know existed. Exercises can be made more or less challenging for each person, and the session will simply speed by as you burn calories, increase your flexibility, and build core strength. The emphasis is on adjusting resistance to challenge each person and improve imbalances in the body. Prerequisite: Reformer 101 or reformer class experience. Level Specific.
