STOTT PILATES® is a contemporary adaptation of the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. It's aim is optimal musculoskeletal performance - strength, endurance and flexibility - without the risk of injury or building bulk.  The exercises are graded into essential, intermediate and advanced levels to allow for progression. STOTT PILATES® helps restore the natural curves of the spine, as we now know restoration of natural spinal curves provides the strongest and most shock absorbing position for the body.  Whether walking or running an S-shaped spine protects the backbone from injury and pain, and shoulder stabilization prevents shoulder injuries.
Simone Pyne is the owner of SPYNE Pilates Studio and has been practicing Pilates for over 10 years.  She has always been physically active – aerobics, weight training, running etc. and discovered that Pilates was not just an exercise, but challenged her both physically and mentally.  Simone took her love of Pilates to the next level and started her formal training in 2010.  She received her Stott Mat and Reformer certification in 2012 and her Total Barre certificate in 2013, PiYo - Strength in 2014 and Injuries & Special Population (ISP) in 2016.

What Clients Are Saying

"SPYNE Pilates has changed my life in profound ways.  I was in physical therapy and realized that they were starting to have me do Pilates movements.  Once I finished my therapy, I thought it would be beneficial for me to find a Pilates class and continue on with classes.  I spoke directly to the owner who donated an hour of her time to assess whether I was capable of doing the classes with a group or whether I needed to have individual classes.  She concluded that i was capable of working through with the classes.

Both of my instructors understood I was a beginner and provided me with alternates to the moves.  I've been doing this for two years and they are still providing modifications for difficult moves.  The last thing they want is for someone to get hurt doing these exercises.  The classes are fun and you don't feel like you're exercising, you're just part of the group.  All the members are friendly and I look forward to my classes.

I wish I had known about Pilates in my teens.  I love the muscles that you build in Pilates.  I was a swimmer as a kid and teenager.  Swimming gave me huge calves and made it impossible to find boots to wear.  Pilates gives you long lean muscles and you look so much better.  As proof, I am providing after and before photos.  I can strongly recommend working out at SPYNE Pilates, you will love it!  Also classes are scattered throughout the day and early evening, so they are available for all!"

"I would never think I'd say that, but I'm addicted to Pilates, to be more precise, I'm addicted to Pilates at SPYNE Pilates Studio.
I will never forget the day I first walked into SPYNE Pilates studio: first, I was pleasantly impressed with how clean and nice the place was, second, I was made so welcome and comfortable, that it didn't matter any more that I moved more like a goose than a graceful ballerina. And I was hooked!
Now, two years later, I just can't get enough of Mat, Barre and PiYo classes. I am a Pilates' addict and I'm proud of it. Both, Simone and Andrea, are awesome instructors that make sure their students get pushed as hard as they can every class, while also staying safe. We all get challenged one muscle at a time.

It is not easy, but we get through the workout with sweat and laughter and then we realize how great we feel after. We are not all hard core athletes, but we are all people who want to feel strong and healthy. That's exactly how SPYNE Pilates studio makes us feel".

Class reservations can be made online up to 10 minutes before class. You may also call or walk-in. We are unable to guarantee walk-in spots and recommend signing up for group classes online to ensure your spot. Occasionally there are times our instructor changes so please be sure to view our online class schedule or your account for the most updated class schedule. We keep our reformer classes small with a maximum of 3 persons and mat classes maximum 10persons so everyone gets lots of 1-on-1 attention. Unless otherwise noted, all classes are 55 minutes long.

Reservations for 1-3 people can be made online up to 24-hours before your requested time. If you’d like to book a session within that window or don’t see a time that works send us a note with your preferred day and time and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Please be sure to complete our waiver and student profile prior to partaking in our class.
If you are late, your session will end on time and you will be charged for the full session.

If you are prompted to sign up for a waitlist, we recommend signing up because the waitlist works! If a class is full, sign-up anyway and you’ll be added to the waitlist. As soon as a spot opens up, you’ll automatically be added to class and notified via e-mail and/or text (depending on the preference you set in your online profile). If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist online, you’ll be added to the class so if you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the waitlist so someone else can join. We assume you want to take EVERY class you are waitlisted for.
You can create a client account, pay and schedule classes online through our website. If you are new to SPYNE Pilates, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork before taking your first class.

As a courtesy to the studio and other clients please remove your shoes upon entering the studio, refrain from wearing strong perfumes and lotions and keep voices low and chatter to a minimum so as not to disrupt an appointment or class in session.
